Charity Tournament Tickets
Our November 7th charity tournament is officially SOLD OUT! If Norm has already promised you a ticket, you can probably still get it from him, but I wouldn't wait much longer! For anyone who hasn't already made arrangements, unfortunately, you're out of luck for November 7th.
The good news is that there are still plenty of tickets available for our November 28th tournament, so you've still got another opportunity to join the fun!
Halloween Spooktacular
A big THANK YOU to everyone who came out for our two-night Halloween Spooktacular! Whether you dressed up, joined in the festivities, or simply came out to play some poker, I hope you had as much fun as I did!
And a special thanks to Rob Gracie, who once again generously offered his photography services at his usual ridiculously affordable rate. I'm beginning to think the man needs a better business manager!
Rob took a whole bunch of pictures, and once they've all been processed, I'll have a link to the complete collection, along with a special Halloween feature on our website. Stay tuned!
A Little Less Reading, A Little More Clicking
If you've ever opened one of my newsletters and wondered whether you'd accidentally subscribed to a small novel, I've got some good news!
I'm working on making these newsletters a little shorter and easier to navigate, and I've already taken a couple of steps in that direction this week.
Our Winners' Roundups are now hosted on the DMHP website! You'll still find the winners listed in the newsletter, but clicking on their names will take you directly to the full Wild West Roundup, where you can enjoy the complete story.
And starting this week, Rules Are Fun is getting the same treatment! Instead of including the entire article in the newsletter, you'll find a short introduction with a link to the full story on our website.
I'll eventually be doing something similar with other sections as well, allowing you to explore the articles that interest you without having to scroll through everything else.
The idea is simple: I want to make sure the important announcements and information don't get buried beneath the mountain of stuff I have a habit of writing!
Now, you may also notice that this week's newsletter has returned to its old familiar layout. Unfortunately, last week's redesigned version had a few technical issues, particularly with images not displaying properly for some readers. I haven't had time to sort everything out yet, so rather than risk another disappearing-picture act, I've gone back to the old format for now.
Don't worry, the new layout isn't dead. It just needs a little more attention before making its next appearance!
And here's a little something for those of you who actually take the time to read all my lengthy articles...
I'm working on an idea that could reward you for doing just that! It's still in the planning stages, and it may take me a while to get everything figured out, but I think it's a pretty good idea, and I suspect some of you are really going to like it!
What is it? How will it work? Well, that would be telling, wouldn't it?
That's all you're getting out of me for now! 😉
I'm not running out of things to say. I'm just finding better places to say them!

This is also a comment. But this "," is a comma. It can be used in comments, like I just did.
