MICHELLE CADEAU WINS AT CARRIGAN ARMS

A costly smoke break, a dirty diaper, and one very ugly river card. Sunday night's final table at the Carrigan Arms had a little bit of everything, including some poker strategy you probably won't find in any instructional books!
With the blinds approaching, Michelle Cadeau decided it was time for a cigarette. She left the table just before her small blind and returned after her big blind, surrendering 18,000 chips without playing a single hand. Not exactly the recommended approach to protecting your stack at a final table, but Michelle apparently had other plans. Despite giving away those chips, she went on to win the whole tournament!
WTG, Michelle!
The biggest hand of the night came with three players remaining. Dan Veltri moved all-in pre-flop, and Michelle decided to make a "f*** it" call with 3-2 offsuit, affectionately known as the Dirty Diaper. I announced to the table, "This is going to be ugly." And ugly it was! A three on the river gave Michelle the winning hand and relieved Dan of almost his entire stack.
Dan wasn't finished yet, though. He managed to double up a couple of times and claw his way back into contention. Then Arash Yadollahi decided to make a "f*** it" call of his own, holding J-6 in a three-way all-in against Michelle and Dan, hoping to end the entire tournament in one hand. Unfortunately for Arash, his gamble didn't work out quite as well as Michelle's. Dan won the main pot to double up for the third time, while Michelle claimed the side pot and the rest of Arash's chips, eliminating him right then in third place. Dan had somehow survived to finish second! Apparently, the "f*** it" strategy comes with mixed reviews!
Meanwhile, our Power Rankings leader, Dennis Snowdon, continued his strong run with a fourth-place finish and four bounties. Even when Dennis doesn't win, he seems determined to make sure we don't forget about him!
50 entries. One champion. And one Dirty Diaper that Dan probably won't forget anytime soon! 🤠♠️
